What you should know about Google’s new advertising products and brands

Over the past decade, small and large companies alike have depended on the Internet for advertising and marketing, and of course Google is leading the way. So when Google announces new products and introduces new branding for its ad products, we’re all ears.

Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform and Google Ad Manager are new Google brands that include some of the main pillars for the benefit of millions of advertisers.

From early June to July, Google will introduce simpler brands and solutions for advertisers. So, if you plan to advertise on Google, first read this article and familiarize yourself with the changes that are happening in Google’s advertising products.

Now it’s Google Ads

Google AdWords debuted in 2000 and served as a platform for displaying text ads on the Google search engine. 18 years later, AdWords has evolved from a text-based platform to one that supports multiple ad formats such as video, apps, shopping and more.

Now its evolution has reached the point of renaming Google AdWords to Google Ads to simplify its complex product line.

With Google Ads, marketers can buy ads across all Google services and partner sites. So, if you are a marketer, you can now easily reach people who are looking for answers on search engines, YouTube, Google Maps, among others.

There is almost no difference between Google AdWords and Google Ads, but the good news is that the platform is more simplified and becomes an automated interface.

Google has announced the launch of its new advertising product designed exclusively for small businesses.

A Smart Campaign is a new type of campaign in Google Ads that brings machine learning technology (that’s AI) to create ads. This allows advertisers to identify actions they prioritize, such as phone calls, store visits or purchases. Automation continues its move to manage Google ads. Google Ad Manager is a complete advertising platform that helps you maximize revenue across reservation, private marketplaces, and open auction.

Google Ad Manager also offers a single platform for serving, measuring, and optimizing ads regardless of where your audience engages. This includes TV, mobile apps and other platforms such as YouTube or Google Maps.

Ad Manager also helps you determine who has access to your inventory and other programmatic demand.

Technology changes and sometimes it changes so fast that we need to step back, look at the bigger picture and start creating a way to simplify everything. Google does a great job at this.

Advertising on Google is much easier now and the fact that they are more focused on the well-being and privacy of consumers is a big plus.
